Successful in every way
The Swiss Expo 2013 in Lausanne was held from the 17th to the 20th of January. This is the largest all dairy show in Europe and over 1’000 animals were judged this year. The atmosphere during the show days is one of a kind and the quality of the showed animals impresses the crowd and judges year after year. This year’s edition again was successful in every way, with great results for the Swissgenetics’ products as well!
The most appealing result in the Red Holstein show for cows sired by Swissgenetics’ bulls, was obtained by the cow Plattery Savard RENITA. She was named Intermediate Champion of the show. Additionally, the Intermediate Udder Champion and Reserve Intermediate Udder Champion of the Red Holstein show were won by MINNIFEE (v. NILSON) and Gratgerber’s Savard NORA. The class winner GS Savard TIARA made the successes even more complete.

Dominated by the genetics from Swissgenetics, was the Brown Swiss show in Lausanne. Not less than 12 out of 14 champion prices went to animals sired by a bull from Swissgenetics. Also impressive, 9 of 14 titles went to cows sired by bulls from the JOLA-family. Steiner’s Jolden ASHTON became both Grand Champion and Udder Champion. The cow PAOLA won both the Intermediate Championships, followed by Schibaho Jet JELENA.
