Swiss Expo 2012 – More international visitors as ever before!

With over 22’000 visitors, the 2012 edition of the Swiss Expo in Lausanne, Switzerland, has been a success.

With over 22’000 visitors, the 2012 edition of the Swiss Expo in Lausanne, Switzerland, has been a success. Spread over four days, more than 1’000 animals have been judged. Swissgenetics has welcomed more international visitors as ever before. To provide visitors an inside view to Swiss cattle breeding apart from the show program, Swissgenetics organized farm-tours for over 300 guests.

With these tours, Swissgenetics likes to give an overview of farm types that are present in Switzerland. These farms are the main source of our genetics. In addition, we showed our AI station with a demonstration of the semen collecting process and a bull-presentation to illustrate the variety of the Swissgenetics’ breeding programs.

At Lausanne, the audience could see exciting high-quality shows of different breeds. The unmatched atmosphere in-and-around the show ring contributes to the reputation of SWISS EXPO. Swissgenetics thanks all visitors for their interest and we hope to welcome even more visitors from 17 to 20 January 2013 for the next edition of SWISS EXPO!
