Over 150’000 Kg milk for bull dam JOLA
The Brown Swiss cow Jolahofs Starbuck JOLA passed the mark of 150’000 Kg milk lifetime production last week. JOLA achieved this extraordinary production on almost 18 years of age. She is classified with EX-95 and has the maximum udder score EX-99. The unique story of JOLA continues through her numerous offspring.
Thanks to several flushings, JOLA is high productive in offspring as well. She has 38 direct descendants, of which 20 are female. JOLA proves to be an excellent brood cow. Seven of her daughters produced over 50’000 Kg milk by now. In addition, 10 out of 14 classified daughters scored EX-90 or higher. Multiple of these daughters are selected as bull dams. JOLA herself already is successful as a bull dam. Five of her sons are proven by Swissgenetics. All are positive for production and strong for conformation. Sons JET-ET (by Denver) and JONGLEUR-ET (by Polo) are available. JET-ET has the highest breeding value for udder in Switzerland. JONGLEUR-ET has the highest breeding value for final score in conformation and sires long herd life in addition.
Her incredible production, classification and the ability to transit her strengths to her offspring, make JOLA truly an unique cow.
