Each year, the IGBS Brown Swiss club organizes a show at which only the best 8% of all cows for kilograms protein are allowed to compete in the show ring. Therefore you can see this as a potential bull-dam show. The best cows proved to be good looking as well. Top of the best became MIRANDA (MACKY x AGIO).

MIRANDA is classified EX-95 in 3rd lactation and completed here 2nd lactation with 9’272kg milk, 4.0% fat and 3.7% protein in only 297 days. In addition, MIRANDA ranks # 20 with her breeding value for kg of all herd book cows. Not surprisingly, MIRANDA is a bull dam indeed.

Swissgenetics owns two MIRANDA sons, SALOMON and SERAIL. SALOMON is an early Dally-son in rearing with extremely high genomic values. SERAIL (s. Vigor) has semen available and shows the same completeness as his dam. SERAIL’s genomic proofs stand out for production, conformation and functionality. Therefore, the great story of MIRANDA will continue in coming years.
