Successful tour with Latin American Group

Latin American breeders impressed by Swiss farms and cows.

From 25 May to 2 June 2024, Swissgenetics has toured our country with 70 visitors. Participants came a long way from Colombia, Ecuador, and Honduras.

The big group toured a variety of farms, seeing cows of dairy and dual purpose breeds in our offer: Brown Swiss, Red Holstein, Holstein, Swiss Fleckvieh, Simmental, and Original Braunvieh breeds.

Another highlight was the visit to the Swissgenetics production and bull center in Mülligen. To close the week, the official Swiss dinner, featuring yodelling by Damian Sommer, Genetic Assistant at Swissgenetics, provided a memorable cultural experience.

Swissgenetics would like to thank its partners Semex Colombia, Ecuasemex and Tecnología Lechera, and the participants for the great tour.
